CPI Aero Recognized for Engineering and Production

Edgewood, NY – CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (“CPI Aero®”) (NYSE MKT: CVU) has been awarded a $1.21 million contract by Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has been selected as a winner of Frost & Sullivan’s Manufacturing Leadership Council’s 2015 Manufacturing Leadership Award. The Manufacturing Leadership Awards recognize world-class manufacturing companies and individual leaders that distinguish themselves by embracing breakthrough innovation and enable their companies to anticipate and respond to customers with unmatched agility. Now in its eleventh year, the Manufacturing Leadership Award honors companies that are “shaping the future of global manufacturing.”
CPI Aero was one of hundreds of nominated companies and individuals that were evaluated and scored by a panel of expert judges in 11 categories. CPI Aero was selected as a winner in the Engineering & Production Technology Leadership category for improving and streamlining the process by which the company’s Manufacturing Execution System software collects production labor on the manufacturing floor for improved productivity. Some of CPI Aero’s fellow winners in this category include General Motors, GKN Aerospace, and Lockheed Martin.
Representatives from the company will attend the Manufacturing Leadership Summit gala celebration on June 4, 2015 in Carlsbad, California where CPI Aero and other winners will be recognized for their accomplishments.
