Salary Range: $28.06-$34.94 per hour

Job Description

Provide administrative support to Human Resources including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment strategies, new hire orientation, training, benefits administration, payroll and wage & salary.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in hiring process by coordinating job postings on Web sites, reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews.

  • Maintain listing of approved personnel requisitions along with assigned salary grade levels.

  • Process personnel action forms (transfer, promotion, termination, salary change) and assures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms. Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

  • Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion. Maintain records for CPI Affirmative Action Plan.

  • Provide support for new hire orientation. Prepare paperwork required to place employee on payroll and establish personnel file.

  • Coordinate health, 401k, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicate with service providers concerning routine administration of programs.

  • Provide support for HR Administrator. Process payroll in accordance with established company procedures including time and attendance administration as needed.

  • Maintain Employee Manual with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed.

  • Screen telephone and voice mail system for department.

  • Provide support for training of new and current employees on various policies and procedures in accordance with CPI business needs.

  • Coordinate employee wellness program for all employees.

  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred and minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Professional with excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $28.06-$34.94 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
